Can I use DemoKit if I have no technical knowledge.
Yes. It is an advantage if you have some basic HTML knowledge, but it is by no means essential. The site is broken down into small simple sections which include little code and comes with full instructions.
DemoKit does however offer various installation options;
For those who are familiar with terms like “FTP”, “SERVER” and “HTML” you will find customising and tailoring DemoKit to your needs very easy, so may choose to opt for our Basic package which simply supplies you with bespoke graphics and logos for your site, but gives you the freedom to populate and customise the site yourself.
However if you don’t have the time or inclination to opt for the Basic or one of our other self building packages we also offer a Complete Service where we do everything from design, to population to sorting out the domain names and hosting.
What do I need to run DemoKit.
The only thing that you need to run DemoKit is access to hosting space, if you have an existing website you will probably already have this. To host any web solution, whether with DemoKit or not, you will require a domain name and web space. We can arrange both of these for you, for more details click here. DemoKit does include some PHP server side code, if you don't know whether you can run this on your server the easiest way to find out is to download Demokit and try to run it on your server if it doesn't work you will need to purchase additional webspace which we can do for you.
What do I get when I activate my site?
